Beale Park is open every day until November 4th 2018. Here's how to get there by bus.
Our Reading-Pangbourne-Goring services pass the entrance to the Park. You can easily have a morning, afternoon or full day out - or combine it with a visit to nearby Basildon Park, also served by same services.
From Sunday 5th August our services on this route are changing. For the time being we won't be running on Mondays to Fridays, but we will be running on Saturdays and Sundays. Please see below for details of services to and from principal destinations. New for this summer are through services from Wallingford via South Stoke, Cleeve and Goring. Hope to see you on board!
The buses stop on request, so please give a clear hand signal to the driver if you wish to board, and let the driver know in good time if you want to get off. They are 14 seater minibuses, so look out for small buses, not the regular size!
The return fare is £5 adult, £2.50 children (5-15).
Don't forget if you're coming from the Reading direction, you could always get the train to Goring where there are connecting buses to the Park, leaving Goring station at 10.00 and 12.55 Saturdays or at 10.25 and 12.35 on Sundays & Public Holidays until 28th October. It's less than a ten minute journey on the bus from Goring. You can either buy a return from Goring to the Park (adult £4.50, children 5-15 £2.25) or if you buy a single to Reading (adult £5, children 5-15 £2.50) you can come back to Reading on the bus using the same ticket. Just tell the driver that you want to break your journey at the Park so that you don't get charged twice! Train fares are extra - contact gwr.com for details.
Please be at the bus stop five minutes before the departure times shown as unusual traffic conditions may result in the bus running slightly early.
