Beale Park reopens 11th February 2019.
Our Reading-Pangbourne-Goring services pass the entrance to the Park. You can easily have a morning, afternoon or full day out - or combine it with a visit to nearby Basildon Park, also served by same services.
From December 5th 2018 we are running services on this route on Wednesdays and Saturdays. See the 'Goring - Reading: The Parks Route' page for full details. If you're coming from Reading, the easiest way is to take the train to Goring & Streatley. The bus runs from the station forecourt and takes around 10 minutes. There are lifts at the station. See below for details of connections.
There are also some buses directly to/from Reading (details also shown below), but please note, if you're travelling from Reading or Pangbourne, we don't run a service back in the late afternoon, but Thames Travel's 143 service departs from the main entrance on the A329 at around 16.00 on Wednesdays or 15.45 on Saturdays. Concessionary Pass holders travel free on these services as well as ours; if you're a fare payer a single from Reading to the park with us is £2, and a single from the park to Reading with Thames Travel is £3.30. The buses also pass Pangbourne railway station if that is more convenient.
Or you can come back with us to Goring station at 16.25 and take the train back from there (they run every half hour).
